This movie totally confused me... I guess because I enjoyed it so much. That should go against my very grain!!!
Of course stealing credit cards, identities, cars, etc... is all wrong. I know that. But there's just something Joely Richardson brings to this role that I love. When she and her daughter are dancing near the ocean, singing together..... she shows a SPIRIT that I sometimes wish I had. Not so I could become a thief or murderer... and yeh I know she was probably "sick".... and could've used some help... I'm not admiring her crimes.... there's just a kernal of FREE SPIRIT that she shows... even in the face of all the wrong she's done... just once for a little while, I'd love to have that kind of free spirit. I often sweat the small stuff... and again, no admiration for her crimes.... just love the spirit she displays. It's confusing... I'm
