I am not going to criticize his acting because intellectually I know he is very talented, but the vast majority of the things I have seen him in he just rubs me the wrong way. I was wanting to reach in the TV and claw his face off in 'Basic'. It is just something about him that irritates me.

shareI know exactly what you mean! I came to his page here to see if anyone else feels the same way. He's a good actor...he really is...but something about the characters he plays just makes me want to smack him around.

Same here ! No doubt the guy can act, but most of the characters he plays annoy me. Maybe I've seen him in the wrong movies, but I never seem to be able to root for his characters. For me this started with 'Gone in 60 seconds'.
shareAgree - he totally tries to scene-steal and upstage everyone he's acting with. It's like it's all about him and he doesn't even acknowledge anyone else in the scene.
