Anyone catch Burt Reynolds on Colbert? What's up with his face?? Is it botox? Face lift? Surgery? Whatever it is it doesn't look natural...
He's also looking quite malnourished and feeble..frail .. is he sick?

shareI didn't see the show but I saw him on something online. I'm sure he's had some kind of surgery over the years like everyone in Hollywood but a lot of it is probably just age. Personally, I'm more concerned with his physical frailty than his face. Burt always seemed so physically fit and now he seems to be in so much pain that I feel bad for him.

unfortunately; I believe it may be more than old age. yes; he is 79, but doesn't look good at all. without the make up and hairpiece; I'll bet he looks terrible. I love burt, and wish him well, but I don't feel good about this. on the other hand; he's been known to bounce back many times. good luck, burt, and happy holidays.
He appeared on "Live With Kelly and Michael" this week (I think it was Tuesday, 11/17/15) to promote his new book, "But Enough About Me", and they did show him walking out (shuffling, would be a more apt description), and at first I couldn't believe it was even him. I seriously believed that they had sent some 90 year old out in his place (what made it worse, was the fact that they kept showing the cover shot of his new book, which looks like they used a photo of his from 5-10 years ago).
In the interview, he did actually show a few flashes of his sly, "old" wit, just enough to let you know that it really WAS him, but my god.....
When, exactly, did this great entertainer turn so, SO, OLD ???

No. Reynolds has prematurely aged. Whether it's due to tanning, lifestyle choices, ill health, bad genes or whatever is anyone's guess, but he does not look 79.

I agree. I think part of the fact is that he seems underweight. Ironically, losing too much weight in middle and old age can sometimes age people by as much as 10 years.
