Classic Male Pubic Hair...Good, Bad or Just Plain Gross??

I have a hairy chest and lower region, and I don't like to trim. When I was younger(Late 1980's), girls loved to see my hairy chest. Touch it, put their fingers through it, press it against their breasts and so on.
Now I get complaints with the women I date. They seem to like it shaved smooth or just long enough that it's not sharp and rough. But NOT natural. Seeing modern porn, most actors of both sexes are baby smooth all over.

So what's the deal? When did male body hair become so unattractive on a man? I see pictures of Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, James Bond, Joe Nameth. These were the sexiest men alive in their prime. They showed off their chest carpets with pride, and I'm sure they weren't trimming their balls.

Ladies? Some insights?

Leave it alone, rp69. I love the hairy Burt Reynolds chest. My husband is French. He has dark hair and a very hairy chest. While he was employed (before he retired) he used to shave it only during the summer months due to perspiration. He maintained when the temperature was hot, it made him cooler in his dress clothes. Naturally, I was impatient for autumn to arrive so he'd stop shaving it. Latin men from Latin European countries do seem so naked without their hairy chests. Certain men were given hairy chests for a good reason.

Don't shave your chest or trim your lower region. Mediterranean-types like my husband (who still has natural jet-black hair), and non-Mediterranean-types like Burt Reynolds look so macho and sexy with those hairy chests. Trust me. Don't go by today's so-called standards. If hairy is not in fashion now, it'll be back in fashion again soon. Incidentally, I answered your question on the "I Saw What You Did" (1965) message boards awhile back. I was glad to help you find the movie you were looking for on that message board by naming it.
