So I’m reading in multiple bios that he was simply scouted. There are thousands and thousands of kids that go to Hollywood and just getting an audition is like winning the lotto. But this kid does absolutely nothing and they randomly choose him? Sounds too good to be true.
shareI think they were looking around the southern states for a kid that worked for Mark Sway. Joel Schumacher said he wanted a kid that already knew what it was like to grow up too fast. He auditioned and got the part.
They should think before choosing kids that are already troubled and ensure they're being guided well in my opinion.
