I never realized, but she used to be QUITE attractive!

Seeing her in more recent things, I really really took much notice of her either way. However I just saw her on a Hitchcock rerun from the 80s - and I was very impressed!

She had a sexy shape to her face, but more so, she had beautiful eyes with thick, sensuous eyebrows.

Without meaning to be too critical, she didn't age all that well. Not that she's ugly by any means, but she didn't retain any of the features which made her exceptional when she was young. While not looking "old" per se, she did look somewhat older, in her mid 40s, than a lot of women I've personally known at 50.

I just had to express, that seeing her in her young 30s, I was IMPRESSED

I still think she's hot.

She was very striking in the 1970s and '80s, and even as late as EVENT HORIZON, she still looked pretty damned good. It is only this decade where age has definitely caught up with her. But she is a classy, strong character actress, and she keeps working. More power to her.

Yeah she was hot back in the day.

she was very hot in the mid 90's, that's for sure!

Yet no one has mentioned how hot she was, completey naked, playing Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer)'s lover Patricia Keneally in "The Doors." (1991)!

She's still lovely, and has a grace about her and a smokey voice that's as distinctive as Kim Novak's in Vertigo.

Check her out in The Promise (1979) available by going to Amazon.com and doing a search for:

There are nearly 30 screen captures of her from The Promise 30 years ago in 1979 at her Facebook page. Do a search for Kathleen Quinlan.

Thanks so much. But what I want to read about Quinlan is that last "Post Deleted." There's the fun stuff!
