I'd like to think there's some cool, subtle reference to her performance as the psychologically ill young woman in I Never Promised You A Rose Garden...and now, years later, she's in the Bibi Andersson role as the placid and sensible therapist, asserting the needlessness of suffering untreated. I find her character and the subject matter really interesting to see on such a fluffy comedy program.
