Always felt John Travolta didn't deserve her. Neither did Charlie Sheen.

Why do attractive women choose such terrible suitors?

RIP

reply

Anti-male, are you?
What does that have to do with her untimely death, except to jump on the bandwagon in order to bash the men in her life, when you dont' know exactly what she was like in real life either. She would have something to say about how "terrible" they were, and think you're rude for it.

reply

Because the men her life were/are douchbags who didn't deserve her. Scientology nut John Travolta (probably gay too), and junkie screwball Charlie Sheen (who slept with men too).

reply

And you wait until now, just after her death to post such "important" news. Real classy.
And you're questioning if Travolta is gay? Where have you been? If she was bearding for him, she's wasn't all that innocent either. Sounds like you're judging based on her pretty appearance, and no man would've "deserved" her. I'm sorry she died, and I'm not a fan of those 2 men by any means.

reply

I always heard that John Travolta despite his ties with Scientology and all of the gay/sexual misconduct rumors, is otherwise, a pretty a nice guy in real life. Even Leah Remini, one of Scientology's biggest critics, will attest to that.

reply

If he's such a nice guy, why the hell is he so involved with Scientology? Crazy ego, being jealous of Tom Cruise's number 1 position in Scientology, and dragging poor Kelly along for the ride.

reply

It isn't that simple to just say that if he or she is such a nice person, why are they involved with Scientology!? I wouldn't necessarily equate John Travolta with somebody like Danny Masterson. While I do naturally question why people would involve themselves with something like Scientology, I must again stress that it's much more complex than saying that they aren't otherwise, a decent human being. And Kelly Preston was a grown woman, with her own mind. What I mean is that don't you think that she wouldn't have fully agreed with Scientology's principles without John's influence?

reply

Kelly despite being a grown woman with her own mind, I maintain was unduly influenced by Travolta in becoming entangled with Scientology. I don't believe she would have anything to do with the cult had it not been for him. You see it all over the world. Women are influenced by their partner's interest. You have women hanger-ons in hate groups, Alt-right, KKK, etc. Simply because the men are involved in them. You have women hanger-ons in many interest where men are dominant.

I have speculated why anyone would get involved with this cult. Saw some Joe Rogan podcast where an ex Scientologist said, bascially, if you're high up in the cult, you have so much power, so many servants will to do anything for you. It's more than having a personal butler. If you accidentally kill someone, they would help you cover your tracks without question. Why would anyone give up that power? So that's why I said it's egotistical. And I do believe anyone who is involved in the cult of Scientology (I don't want to call it a church) - it's an indication of a failing in them, it's a character flaw. A good person with good conscience and good judgement would NOT have anything to do with them. The fact that Travolta and Cruise are mean to me they are egotistical A-holes.

reply

I can't answer for every Scientologists but in regards to John and Kelly, I most side-eye them for being involved with them in relation to Jett's death. It was said the main reason Jett passed away was because someone at the church told them to not let the kid take epilepsy medication.

reply

Why does the post have to be about her death?

reply

His first relationship was with Diane Hyland who also died of breast cancer. They met when he was 23 and she 41 played his mother in Boy Toy in the Plastic Bubble.

reply

They are both rich and famous actors. For her, perhaps being with them was likely as much strategic as it was personal as the relationships raised her profile as well. Perhaps if back in the 80s she had dated some "nice guy" as you are suggesting instead of legendary bad boy Sheen, no one would be here on a message board in 2020 discussing her.

reply

Why is Travolta a bad suitor?

reply

Scientology and gay rumours.
