Wow, Julia Ormond is starting to show her age

Hey, I agree with everyone, Julia Ormond had that kind of girl-next-door beauty that seemed so natural and not something out of a jar. I started comparing photos of Julia Ormond from her twenties, into her thirties, up to age forty, and today. It looks like Julia Ormond kept her natural, college-girl like pretty face all the way up to age forty. But look at her face today in her 2009 photos and man, she has aged! But to her credit, and I really mean it, she seems to have stayed away from cosmetic surgery and botox. She reminds me of the younger actress Jessica Biel who was quoted as saying that she preferred to have wrinkles (in older age) rather than have some surgeon's scalpel on her face. Actors and actresses who undergo cosmetic surgery and/or botox injections all end up with odd, waxy, stretched faces that really didn't recapture their youngr years, but turns them into a different looking person. That might be fine for the FBI witness protection program, but the last thing anyone wants is to look like a stranger, especially if your post-surgery face looks unnatural. For Julia Ormond, the years between age 40 and 45 weren't too good for her face. But well, we all must learn to age gracefully. I still wouldn't want Julia Ormond to do any plastic surgery or botox. Don't do it.

She should quit smoking. She was once beautiful. Smoking destroys the skin. Ask Kramer!

reply

She just got older and laid off the botox.

Its that man again!!

reply

Main problem is that she has shown a dramatic weight gain.

reply

She is not 20 anymore people. Leave her alone, she is a beautiful woman.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.

reply

I was talking about weight, not age.

Ever heard of metabolism slowing down with age? I dont plan on eating just enough to survive when I get old just so I can stay as skinny as in my 20s. Btw she looks great in witches of east end. She doesnt look like a whale at all, which you seem to imply with your "DRAMATIC weight gain" statement.

reply

I don't argue on the internet, so I am not doing that now. But why are you so seemingly offended by the comment about her weight. The comment wasn't mean spirited, nasty, or cruel. The person simply answered the question in the initial post about her aging. It's not subjective as much as it is fact, that she gained a "dramatic" amount of weight. Why be defensive or offended. She DID gain a "DRAMATIC" amount of weight. It's a bummer getting older and it's not easy to retain our younger bodies. Nobody said anything disrespectful or cruel here.

I never accept excuses for being fat. Being fat is a personal choice of people who refuse to stop eating too much.

reply

You really think that Ormond cares one bit about what you accept or not?
