Yes, there definitely is a similarity between those two! I think it's the blue eyes and the special eyebrows together with that winning smile :)

Not to mention that they are both excellent actors.

I would love to see them in a movie together!

They probably met in the early 80s, when Sam was doing 'The Final Conflict', where he met his then girlfriend Lisa Harrow. Around this time, she was also in a film called 'Nancy Astor' with Pierce.

I believe I once read that they have met, in an interview with Sam. But I can't find it anymore. But I found an article from 2001, in which Sam said, he would love to play a villain in a James Bond movie.

Too bad that never happened. Would have loved to see them both in the same movie! They are my favourite actors.

There a clip of both of them trying out for Bond in The Living Daylights dvd but the sceen they were trying out for was From Russia with Love. Which is too bad, he'd of made a great Bond.
