I see him in Cry in the Dark and he's an Aussie, I see him in Dead Calm and he's an Aussie, I see him in Jurassic Park and he's American, I see him in Merlin and he's English, now I see him in Peaky Blinders and he's Irish! What's his endgame?! I don't know how I've managed to never hear him speak casually. Anyway, he's a really great actor.

I think the original poster was referring to his speech/accent, and what it sounds like normally when he's not playing a role. Calm down.

There are interviews on YouTube where you can hear his normal way of talking. :)
