Gun control comments just lost him a large number of fans

Here's what this hypocrite just said in an interview:

"There’s too many [expletive] guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace."

So long, Liam. You just lost another fan and I will never pay to see your movies again. You can't go around insulting my country and my rights to own a gun. Maybe you have a different opinion about owning guns in Ireland? My country isn't occupied like yours has been.

I can take the fact that he doesn't agree with me on this, hell I'm awash with people everyday that don't agree with me on much, but what I can't and WON'T take is the "you're all sub-human scum for not taking the Kool Aid on this" attitude about something as important and dear to me as the constitution, especially from a man whom is not even a citizen of my country. And I USED to be a fan of his, he's a great actor, just not a very deep thinker apparently. In fact I was about to order a copy of "A Walk Amongst the Tombstones" as I'm a BIG fan of Lawrence Block's Matt Scudder character, but now I can scratch that idea.

And on top of everything else this idiot uses the massacres in France as a launching point, which was done by TERRORISTS using full-auto machine guns that probably haven't seen legal hands since they were manufactured in Russia over 50 years ago, and are near-impossible to get legally here without FBI and ATF rectal exams and 4000 separate licenses.

I don't NEED you Mr. Neeson, put on makeup and play "make-believe" on someone's else's dime for now on, and the same goes for that drooling village idiot Jim Carrey and the has-been, now hack writer Stephen King.

For him to toss out a statement like this when all of his recent movies have him guns blazing. Guns are only okay when actors hold them and shoot them because it's make believe. They're not exploiting gun violence at all.

Yeah, okay.

These actors are so deep.

Good for him.

I find Oscar Bait infinitely more interesting than ticket bait

This land is your land, this is land is my land. I'm not insulted. And Liam Neeson doesn't give a *beep* if you don't see his movies.

Well, I'm insulted and he should be concerned. He just pissed off a LARGE number of fans and it will affect his career.

So, long loser.

AS we went from the estimated 2000 million to over 300 million (350 million in some estimates) in the past 20 years, US gun murder plunged in half.

Most people believe the opposite of those facts, and the further left you go politically the morel likely you are to thin gun murder is up.
http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2013/05/07/gun-homicide-rate-down-49-since-1993-peak-public-unaware/

Also about 20 jurisdictional studies across the Us show that about 65% of us murder victims are felons and other 25% are other criminals or gang members. Over 90% of US gun murder is criminals and gang members killing criminals and gang members.
Eg:
http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007-08-31-criminal-target_N.htm

We have a very specific problem of gangs killing gangs, and criminals shooting criminals, if you are not putting yourself in one of those risk groups the data indicate your risk of being murdered in the US is no higher than the developed nation mean.

LOL. Good for him? He has no idea what he's talking about. He's oblivious to the US gun culture and most likely gets his "views" from f--king newspapers. I bet anything if he and I were to have a debate about guns I would destroy his views. Want to know why? Because he uses emotional to debate, I'll be using stats. Enjoy.
