EDL?

Is she?

Is she what? A member of the English Disco Lovers organisation? 

Or something else with the initials EDL?

I couldn't resist – I just had to search EDL in Google and find out what it meant.

When I asked Google what EDL stands for, it's one of the search results that came up:
http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/EDL

So, looking at the first result, I would say that the OP was probably asking whether or not Ms. Helen Mirren is a member of the English Defense league – a conservative, right wing group opposed to the infiltration Islamicists in their culture. But, knowing how liberal Ms. Mirren is, I would assume the answer is no – not that I have anything against the members of EDL – so I wouldn't mind if she was a member – though I'm almost sure she isn't.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

reply

I am sad at the moment, because I've got a cold and a cough

I was just answering what you had written. That's the trouble with using initialisms without explaining what you mean by them. There are lots of things with the initials EDL
