I remember reading about her when this all broke. I think RM had said JM knew about the HW abuse.
I read the email. It did not make JM look good.
I believe she had a history of mental illness.
Doesn’t justify the $hit behaviour of $hit people though.
But being so fragile she should’ve steered clear of Hollywood.

Let's be clear, if a man (Harvey Weinstein) abuses a woman then he is to blame, all the fallout is his fault.

Well, I don’t remember much about this email, just that RM seemed to think that JM had protected HW by reiterating some things RM supposedly told her; that a lot of the stuff RM & HW did that night was consensual. HW got her to put it in writing and then released it to the media. RM and many others felt that JM had protected the abuser to aid in silencing the victim.

Of course rapists are responsible for their own actions.

But rape culture is a complex social phenomenon. There are lots of bad people who don’t rape too, although I don’t know enough about JM and that email to have an opinion on her.
