Lost all respect for him

I think he is a great actor and I thought he gave an excellent performance in A Clockwork Orange. But I can't believe he lowered himself when he did the movie Caligula. How could he even involve himself in such smut? Doesn't he read scripts before he takes movies?

What is Caligula? Do you know he is up in age and is not in demand like he once was. He needs to take whatever movies he has an offer to take.

It was a movie he made a long time ago. I just saw it recently online. I found it to be sick and disgusting. It was a worthless piece of trash. I can't believe McDowell even did it. Like I said before, he really lowered himself.

Caligula was made in 1976. It is the best of the Roman epics.

Very funny. I can't say I have much respect for the other actors, but when I see the things McDowell had to do in the movie, it baffles me why he took the movie. It's a disgrace that McDowell could lower himself. If I were him, I'd be ashamed.

Even without the pornography scenes, the movie is sick and perverted. Roger Ebert gave it zero stars for a reason. The New York Times also found it sickening.
