shareThe Oscars took a 20% plunge in ratings making it the lowest ever recorded. I think a lot of people are just fed up with Hollywood's liberal hypocrisy.

I think we're tired of watching rich people prance around in ever more expensive clothes, smiling and waving like they've been saving lives and doing important things, when they are just over compensated celebs, famous for being famous. Hell, I'd rather watch some Nature show quietly narrated than this spectacle of bad taste and wealth.

A slow decline might indicate that times are simply changing, but that big plunge in ratings suggests there's something else that suddenly changed...and everyone with half a brain cell knows what that is...
Sitting for three-plus hours listening to these clueless fools pontificate on social and environmental issues they know nothing about is beyond endurance.
