what has happened to all of the posts on here there was like 8 pages


worth from years ago and now only a few posts why?

but why is what I'm asking, not as if they running out of space as I have seen some pages in the past that are like 90 pages long!

imdb randomly wipes certain boards from time to time except for the mainboards.

IMDb deletes messages when the total messages on the board goes over 1000 posts. I am not sure exactly how far back they do keep messages from when they do start deleting messages. I have usually seen messages kept from about 6 months to 1 year back from the date the purge of the board occurs. If a board is very active it could have many thousands of posts on it, but they usually have been posted within the 6 month to 1 year time frame.

So if you are on a board frequently and want to save old threads, add a post to it when the total number of posts of the board is around 1000. That way, an old thread will be saved when the board is purged. You can see how many posts are on a board if you have it in your favorites list.
