What was her best performance?

She's a pretty face obviously, but I can't say I think that highly of her as an actress. I've only seen a few of her films though. Are there any particular roles where you guys feel she has stood out (apart from L'oreal)?

reply

Groundhog Day, probably.

She is AWFUL in "four weddings and a funeral" in my opinion. However, that could also be because her character was not likable.

I tried to get on board with that....... No Deal!
She is AWFUL!

Greystoke.

reply

"Greystoke" with an asterisk as her lines were re-dubbed by Glenn Close.

reply

None. Unless WOODEN counts as a great performance?

reply

I thought she looked really good in "St. Elmo's Fire".

reply

Yep. She was at zenith.

reply

I don't think she is a good actress, but I do think she was
perfectly cast for the role in Green Card.

reply

I haven't seen it for a long time, but I recall being moved by her performance in Unstrung Heroes. Thought she was also quite good in Sex, Lies, and Videotape, and winsomely appealing in Ground Hog Day.

Green Card
