You must be new lol. If you'd been alive in the 80ies, you would know he's a Democrat. Google "Rob Lowe sex tape". He taped himself having sex with an underage girl and he's been screaming conspiracy ever since. He's so full of himself, he actually believes to this day that he was set up by Republicans because he was campaigning for Dukakis. As if he was so influential, they had to take him down to make Dukakis look bad LOL

I never heard that. He admitted he did the sex tape but I never heard him complaining that the Reps set him up. And why would he complain? As the tape shows he has nothing to be ashamed of :) And it didn't really hurt his career.

shareI’m guessing he’s a Democrat. At his roast, several people crossed the line when it came to cruelty to Ann Coulter. And Lowe did nothing to quell that. He just laughed like an asshole. I used to think he was one of the nice ones in Hollywood, but no more.
Sure, it’s a roast…and there’s an understanding that shots will be taken. But it’s not supposed to be mean-spirited. When several on that panel ganged-up on Ann Coulter, you could tell there was anger and hatred behind it. It was vicious, and they were all pig dicks for doing it.
I lost respect for all of them, including Lowe.
I don't think one ever knows about these Hollywood stars
and their political beliefs. They are portrayed as being
Liberal because most moviegoers think Conservative stars
are a-holes, like James Wood for example. Conservatism
does not go over well with movie stars because it is elitist
and punching down, and the majority of moviegoers are
regular people.
So, they have a massive PR industry that makes them all
seem like wonderful, charitable, mostly Liberal, people who
stand up for the average Joe, which they probably are not.
The big example I think of is Bill Maher, who has portrayed
himself as a Liberal for decades. I think he is on a lot of
social issues, but here is a guy who gets paid millions a year
and he works one day a week, and takes off 3-4 months at
the end of the year - and yet he so frequently whines about
how much taxes he has to pay.
I find that sickening. He is so lucky. It is not talent in his
case, not that it really matters, but he could count his blessings
a little more and not begrudge paying taxes. But these folks
get this mindset, like anyone who is wildly successful and has a
lot of brown-noters, that they are something special in the universe.
Lowe was on The West Wing as a staunchly Liberal guy, wasn't he.?
So that might be where he got this image.
