Every time I see this guy

EVERY TIME I see this guy, no matter what type of role he is playing, I always think of him as a bad guy because of 13 ghosts. (Remember that movie where the family inherits a glass house with a large metal perpetual motion type device that had gears that looked like huge watch gears? And the house has 13 horrific looking ghosts in it?)
Well for some reason, because of that movie I can never see him as anything but an untrustworthy bad guy. LOL

A movie of his

But... he didn't play a bad guy in 13 Ghosts... he played a good guy who sacrificed his life to save the family. Are you sure you haven't got your actors mixed up?

I was just thinking that, too. It's been a long time since I've seen the movie, but I thought he was the one that tried to help the family. I supposed from the ghosts' point of view he was a bad guy, since he helped the uncle trap them originally, but I think he redeemed himself.

Yes he did redeem himself in the end but in the first half he was mean to the ghosts lol, by trapping them, and....it's been a good while since I saw the movie but didn't he also pretend to be the real etate guy or had some role of getting g the family into the house for malicious reasons? I think it was something like that.
Anyway, all I was saying is whatever he did in 13 Ghosts, solidified him as a bad guy in 'my' mind.
