Multiple short-lived TV series back in the '80's?

I've known Tea Leoni by name and known her face for a LONG time, but can't name one show I can remember seeing her in. If my memory serves me, it seems to me that she was in many TV series in the 1980's that were all quite short lived, yet she kept popping up in new series (in which she was cast in the starring role) time after time. Does anybody else remember things this way? Not trying to sound judgmental, just a little confused and curious.

I, too, remember her from an 80's sitcom which I cannot name. She was a sexy partner to her co-star (also un-
named) and I believe it may have only lasted one or two seasons. It's been driving me crazy, because I really enjoy her in this dramatic role and like her feistiness and dry wit. It doesn't hurt either that she is stil quite attrac-
tive, which may help explain the fact that she (in her quotes on IMDB) doesn't get overly excited about stardom.
