Madame Secretary .... wow.

i normally have a hard time connecting with political shows. but damnit i took a chance on Madame Secretary on Netflix and.. holy ****.

she is unbelievably strong in this role. When i think about how now is a Golden Age of tv... this is the type of show I am thinking about.

I could not agree more. Frankly, after seeing her in "Spanglish", I cringed every time I saw her in anything afterwards. Her character affected me so deeply that I automatically saw that whiny, crying woman every time. But, for it to affect me so deeply, means that she did a masterful job of portraying a neurotic wife.

Now she is doing the same thing in "Madam Secretary". She's doing an incredible job.

I guess I'm one of the few that liked Spanglish:) However I do agree with you about Madame Secretary. Its a great TV series and she is wonderful in it. The whole cast is enjoyable.

Spanglish was virtually unwatchable, and Leoni deserves the lion's share of "credit" for that.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

reply

She was playing a part in that film and I thought she did it well. The character was supposed to be irritating
