I never knew that before. I remember when he passed away due to the helicopter accident while filming The Twilight Zone movie. I have seen him since in old episodes of Combat!

It was horrific but true. She never wanted me to know—she didn’t want to poison me against him. I was 2 when it happened. He told me he put her in the hospital, and he told me this on my 14th birthday. Perhaps it was his attempt to have a closer relationship with me, but obviously it backfired.

So she cut him off because of a one time event that had happened more than 10 years in the past. Still seems pathetic to me because she still used his connection to get into acting.
