Jennifer's role from "Last Exit to Brooklyn" (1989)

I keep meaning to watch that movie. I've heard good things about Lange in it.

Late to the post but I don’t see it. Tra La La was a whore. A prostitute. Jessica’s character was a misunderstood (or bored) military wife. Apples & oranges. Both fantastic actors.

I haven't seen it since the early 90s but Leigh left an impression. One of her finest performances, certainly.

I like Lange in Blue Sky but Last Exit to Brooklyn is a better movie overall. I'd need to see Last Exit again to make a comparison between the two - on paper the roles are not all that similar.
