I wish he had lasted longer in The Happening

I really liked his character especially in his final scenes.

I wish he would have survived the car crash and not found a way to commit suicide but was seriously injured. Although if he had survived, that would have been one more movie cliche where everyone in one social group survives. Guess I'm a sucker.
