No one with an Oscar, can say they are more deserving than Lee!

So you're saying that no one is better at being a popularity joke and pretending to be prestigious than Lee, thus making him most deserving of such an award? Not a very nice thing to say with no reasoning.

Lee was never offered the kind of role that brings in n the awards, but doesn't seem to have minded.

Very simple reason why he never got an Oscar. He was a British actor. They rarely give Oscars for Best Actors to actors outside the U.S.A.
But, I don't think that Sir Christopher cared. Most actors do NOT go into acting to win awards.
