In an interview with Veronica (a Netherlands publication) Liam Neeson said that Famke will most likely be back as his ex-wife Lenore in Taken 3. This could mean she will have to bow out of Kickback as the two movies shoot around the same time.

I'm not sure Kickback has started filming. Taken 3 will have to begin filming very soon because a release date of January 9th, 2015 has already been set which is a really fast turn around.
The article that announced her casting said it was set to film in March, via Deadline which is a good source.
shareI hope she is able to fit both in, but Taken could be filming as early as next month given how soon the release date is. With the movies shooting so close together they may not be able to work her schedule out (I'm assuming her role in Kickback is large since she is the female lead). Hopefully it all works out and she can do both movies!

They need a tall wife because both Liam and Maggie Grace are so tall. A shorter actress would look quite odd with those two.
