Hemlock grove Season 1
*SPOILERS*
Whoever let her do that dodgy English accent in the first season of hemlock grove should be shot.
It was almost worse when she switched to an american one for some reason
I believe it's supposed to be horrible. Her character in Hemlock Grove has a history in Europe (several countries) so in my opinion she nailed the 'mix&match' accent. She dropped most of it for season 2, though, because most viewers of the series haven't read the books and therefore share your view about her accent. I understand why she did it, and also respect the change, but I definitely wouldn't have minded if she had kept the accent.
