He's definitely the best thing about the DCCU Batman Family. I like how more proactive he is as well as being loads more funnier than Michael Caine. But Irons isn't perfect, his voice is too refined to play a butler, I prefer Caine's cockney accent or Michael Gough's more humble accent.

But I enjoy how Irons like Caine and Sean Pertwee show that Alfred is a tough guy, Alfred in the comics being a retired Royal Marine and the only one in the house who has no qualms about firearms.

I thought he was a weak Alfred--probably the weakest I've seen. The movie was terrible too.

Yes, he is awesome Alfred. He totally nailed the role, and he is the closest depiction of the character to the comics on screen.

Though, in my opinion, Gough, Caine and Irons - all of them were great Alfreds.
