3 months....

It's now been 3 months since Bill's passing. It's still very sad for me because he was an amazing man and a one-of-a-kind actor whose films I used to watch on a daily basis. For those interested, I'm going to try to commemorate each month by posting a movie from his extensive list of great films. This month, I'm posting a small British film he did back in 1994 called Second Best.

It's a character study, set in a small Welsh village, about a middle-aged bachelor postmaster (William Hurt) who hopes to adopt a troubled 10-year-old boy (Chris Cleary Miles).

Additional cast:
John: Keith Allen
Margery: Prunella Scales
Debbie: Jane Horrocks
Bernard: Alan Cumming
Uncle Turpin: John Hurt
Directed by Chris Menges
From the David Cook novel-turned-screenplay
