A number of years ago, I read somewhere - I can't remember where - an interview with Mark Hamill where he talked about kids coming up to him and talking about Luke and Star Wars. He said that he recognized the influence he could have by being such an iconic character for so many and said something like he knows that being Luke Skywalker means he has as a responsibility to be a role model and live a good life.

It seems like he has lived that out.

He also comes across as just plain happy with his life. It sounds like he loves his wife and children, and gets to do something he enjoys for a living - and he seems to enjoy talking about it too. There is nothing bad about that.
