Favorite Performance?

For me, it's Harry Caul from The Conversation.

reply

A fine performance. I didn't like the way the movie ended.

reply

Lex Luther in the Superman movies.

reply

And do you know he hated that role? He regrets it.

reply

LOL. Hackman hated it so much he was in three Superman movies! Superman is my favorite superhero movie and Hackman was still great in them along with Reeve and Kidder.

For me, too many to narrow it down to just one. Just off the top of my head, Mississippi Burning comes to mind followed by The Chamber which I rewatched recently.

reply

Its a tie between Mississippi Burning and The French Connection for me.

reply

Ima add Hoosier and crimson tide also. And my favorite one was no way out

reply

Unforgiven. He wiped out Eastwood, Freeman and Harris, and that's not a walk in the park.

reply

Top 3

1. Unforgiven
2. Hoosiers
3. The French Connection

reply

Bat21 and the one with Will Smith

reply

Saw this on the trending and I thought he died. Don't do me like that.

reply

You’d rather people not talk about him?

reply

Just saying it got me worried.

reply

So many fine performances! He was great as Lex Luthor ( "We all have our faults. Mine's in California").

I really loved his performance as the submarine commander in Crimson Tide.

"We're here to preserve democracy, not practice it."

reply

Same here. I click his name and I'm hoping it's not a "RIP" post.

reply

Every time I see an old actor trending, I think he died too.
