Why hasn't someone written a proper retrospective about the great Gene Hackman's career? There were a couple of short inadequate books in the 80's and 90's, but no one has written a good biography that discusses not only all his acting career but his post acting writing career! It would be so cool for his many fans who still remember sitting in a theater seeing whatever and the trailer for the new Gene Hackman movie would come on. Sometimes seeing that trailer was so exciting I didn't have to watch the movie I was there to see. His celebrated contemporaries have been the subject of many and varied bio's, it's time for a proper Gene Hackman biography!!
