Francis Ford Coppola: The Conversation (1974)

Did anyone notice the homage (or coincidence) of Gene Hackmans Character in this film ?. In Th3 Conversation he plays an employer who spies for the gouvernemnt and does so on his special workplace,which guess what is also featured in enemy of state, the timeline also would make sense as his character speaks about ops in the 70s, and also his character is retired,which makes sense at the end of The conversation. While the conversation is a totally different film and by far much better (a Masterpiece), for film-theorie fans this can be seen as kind of a continuation of said character (even if they are totally different)
