Stop getting angry at people for getting older

Actors who are known for their beauty (both women and men) really get a bum deal as they age. If they get something fixed, it is analyzed and declared fake looking. If they don't get it fixed, then people are horrified that they don't look the same as they did 30 years ago. I'd like to see what most of these hate posters look like at 25, much less 55.

Apparently, Antonio Banderas is a true man who knows that if you love someone, they remain beautiful to you, no matter what the world thinks.

It's unfortunate, yes, but consider that the crowd who thinks that plastic surgery is a mistake is usually a much more intelligent crowd than the ones who think plastic surgery should be done.

It's better to just age naturally instead of becoming a laughing stock of plastic. At least getting nothing done is natural and not the CHOICE which surgery is.

I rarely know anyone criticizing people for looking older. Sometimes there's the occasional comment of "so-and-so isn't aging well" but it's not such a stark criticism as it is an observation, and such an observation is usually mixed with sympathy, since none of us want to age in that way.

At any rate, Griffith's mockery is solely over her ridiculous surgery, which she CHOSE to have. At least if she only had minor work, it wouldn't have called so much attention. It mystifies people that celebs would so often rather look silly and plastic, by choice, than to just look "older", which is natural and understandable.

Aging is a combination of lifestyle and genetics. Since her mother has aged quite gracefully and her father also, before his death, I would say that Melanie's aging has more to do with the former.

As for Antonio, Melanie's substance abuse has continued during their relationship (at least two trips to rehab) so he bears some responsibility for her lifestyle. Unconditional love is admirable but sometimes tough love is what's needed.

Nothing can be done about getting older. No way to turn back the clock!
