Due to extensive reshoots he was cut out of the film, if you've watched it you'll see he appears incredibly briefly then vanishes for ages and then pops up towards the end

I'd be interested to hear what he thinks about the end result

Not really. He said that he's "barely in it" months before the film release.

Because he was told he was edited down heavily when they were reshooting and recutting
