aging so poorly!

Hugh Grant is making the talk show rounds for an upcoming movie and seeing his cragly face, yellow teeth and enormous bags on my HD TV is just plain offensive. What happened to him?? He looked alright just a few years ago. He looks particularly tore up and older than many stars in their 60s. ughhh I have a feeling if he was a woman people would be criticizing him left and right!

Good thing you're here to criticize his looks, otherwise he'd get a free pass for getting old and going on TV.

I think he looks fantastic. I'm half his age and I'd still give him a go.

I get the feeling that Grant cares less that he is looking old. I think he is looking forward to playing character roles.

Its that man again!!

reply

I agree! I actually came here just to see if anyone else noticed. He looks more 70 than 56!!

Hey Hugh!"Noli illigitemi carborundum decendus"?

Or "Nil Illigitimi Carborundum' whichever ;)

Just saw him on the CBS show "Sunday Morning' and thought he looked great! Yes, he's getting older, but who looks the same at 55 as they did at 20? I think he's always been very handsome. Now he is just more distinguished looking. Not to mention charming, witty, and good-natured.
I knew he had a child or two, but didn't realize he now has four children. Wow! Talk about making up for lost time. Good for him.

I don't have a problem with wrinkles and bags under the eyes, but his look as if they were caused by abusing his body. Somehow, there is a difference between natural aging and hard-living. I'm his contemporary, and I don't have wrinkles or bags under my eyes. I did inherit a tendency to dark circles under my eyes (every woman in our family has/had them), but that's about it.
