Mistake Height

Having met him, I'd say anything north of 6ft is good. I'm 5'10, but have been measured as low as 5'8" up to 5'9 3/4"! LOL

a former coworker had a similar build and claimed 6'5", but depending on his stance, I could look him in the chin (coming around a corner) or look him in the eye, slouching.

I think it's normal when you're older to lose maybe 1 inch.

yeah, in your later 60s on up, depending on your health as you age.

Boss seems to have lost his well before then. He was claiming 6'3" in his early career, but 6'2" by turn of century before he hit fitty.

If he had lost it now, I would say his previous 00s weight plus replacing both knees, THEN factor in aging.

He did power lifting for Flintstones and carried that muscle mass throughout the 90s, which would have helped strengthen the bones. only after he gained weight in 00s and then started the weight rollercoaster of past few years has he seemed to have lost that muscle conditioning. He may have kept toned with his trainer/s of the past few years, but he's definitely lost the mass with his 2015 weight loss.

He is more like 6´2 now.

I always thought he was about 6'5, he has always looked like a huge guy. It's funny, because every other actor I feel gets overestimated in height.

nah, I met him again this summer, and he wasn't too much taller than me at 5'10".

I had a co-worker of his build (late Roseanne/Lebowski era) claiming 6'5" and he was definitely taller. I literally almost ran into Danny at work a couple times, and I was staring into his chin. Not so with John, who I'm looking level with the tip of his nose in this summer's pic.
