Does "Crispin" mean something?

I remember him from his brief appearance in "Friday the 13th:The Final Chapter" and of course in "Back to the Future". I've often wondered if his name had some special meaning.

It's from the Latin "Crispus", meaning curled or curly-haired.

Possible connection to Saint Crispin,as his father was an actor he may have paying homage to Henry V's St. Crispin's day speech by Shakespeare.
