For Teri Garr

This is a love letter from a film fan.

I love you Teri Garr. In your youth, you were one of the cutest and most approachable actresses. I think you are terrific and that you’ve been in some fascinating movies. You’ve worked with some of the greats. You’ve worked with Coppola, Spielberg, Pollack and Scorsese. Those are all smart knowing men who recognized your unique quality. You’ve done comedy, drama, and you did it effortlessly.

I am not sure how you are doing health wise at this moment, but I hope you are living a comfortably.

Forgot acting in film. I would love to see you in a stage show talking about your ups and downs in the film business.

It would be great to see her working again. Even something small.

Not only is she a great beauty of disarming charm and comic acumen, but someone that you'd just love to talk to and know. She is just the cream of the crop. It's impossible not to be enchanted with her blonde crafted Marilyn Monroe scatterbrained ditziness.
You can clearly see the grace in her visage in every photograph taken of her, even through her illness and aging. What a unique actress and comedienne she's been. God bless Teri.

and many happy returns!

If you would really like to know her, then read her book, Speedbumps. It's like you spent a few hours in her company.

While Teri will leave behind a great legacy of film work, our children are the best testament as to how we lived our lives. Teri raised a terrific daughter, Molly, and she can be very proud.
