The state of his mental well being

I know everyone here probably knows about the "JUST" meme, but many are now worried for him. Everytime a new publicity photo or video of him emerges, you can tell he looks very beaten down. His eyes puffy and red from weeping profusely, his shoulders and back hunched forward, and his voice trembling being unable to speak in anything more than a whimper, eyes unable to look directly at the camera. Even his physical features show signs of neglect and heavy depression. He was once cut like a marble statue, but now is heavy and soft. There has to be something more than just his alimony troubles that is destroying this man. I feel their is a lot not being said behind closed doors where he might be leading a very abused private life. His inability to speak up and his sharp fall from grace is more than just a few bad movies. Brenden needs help, and we should be more aware of this.

I don't know if it's true or not, but weren't there rumors that he secretly "played for the other team", but didn't want to admit it?

reply

You can't be serious ! We've all seen the publicity photos and the interviews. None of that is true !
Yes, he looked different when he was younger, but we all change as we get older. Now he just looks like a somewhat older Brendan Fraser, still good-looking, but in a more mature way. ( for G_d's sake, he's NOT Peter Pan )

I feel their is a lot not being said behind closed doors where he might be leading a very abused private life.

 OK, I give up. Now I KNOW this post is a joke.

Oh, for the love of it...

These "Save Brendan" fake pleas are growing more ridiculous with every post!

reply

Is it really that ridiculous to be concerned over an actor who looks like he is suffering? Depression and pain take many forms, and Brenden is wracked with it. If you compare public appearances of him from years ago to now you will see a dramatic shift in how he acts and carries himself. In the past you saw he was much more relaxed and smiling, looking far more healthy and optimistic about his future endeavors.

The fact Brenden has yet to publicly acknowledge the Save Brenden campaign to disprove it in any way only builds more fuel behind the message. And no, I will not take the words of any imposters claiming they are him online.

reply

That presumptuous "Save Brendan" campaign does not deserve to be publicly acknowledged by anyone, let alone by Brendan.

The fact that you cannot even be bothered to spell his name correctly, shows how much you "care". Please move along ,Sir or Madame. Someone else might have something to say worth reading.

Ah yes, the grammar nazi card. A common fallacy to fall back on when contesting an argument on IMDB. You sure showed me what for, good sir.

Who are you to say what should and should not be publicly acknowledged? From where I stand, this campaign is built upon good intentions and aspirations to remind Hollywood that he still has money to his name and to make him an action hero again.

reply

I think you need to look up the definition of fallacy. Don't use a twenty-five cent word when a ten cent one will do.

Unless you have something other than grammar critique to contribute to this discussion, I suggest moving along.
