HI Steve

I'm not into the politics of movie stars, so this is just my honest opinion,

Jane Fonda has a surprisingly mediocre resume for someone who has been so famous for so long.

I guess I would also pick Klute as her number one film.

Just a question--It did surprise me that On Golden Pond did so poorly in your ratings. Could you elaborate?

*The Doll House is a terrific play, but the version done at about the same time by Claire Bloom and Anthony Hopkins is much the better, so I have no issue with your rating.

John, I think you also quibbled over On Golden Pond's less than exciting score on both the Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn videos.

Looking at my database - it's highest score was from a Radio Times reviewer who gave it 4 out of 5 (8 out of 10). Second highest was from IMDB 7.7. So it didn't stand a chance of passing 8.

On Golden Pond is in 3rd place on Cogerson's critics chart with an average of 7.9. it's 15th on his Hepburn chart and 16th on his Henry Fonda chart.

Glad you were happy with Klute being no.1

Thanks as always for commenting!

I should have said 3rd place on Cogerson's Jane Fonda page.
