At the end of the day, Alien 3 is his best film.

This guy is terrible to be honest, his films are either massive convoluted messes (Fight Club, Seven), incredibly boring and pointless (Zodiac, The Social Network) or downright disastrous (Gone Girl). Alien 3, the film he so much hates like a spoiled brat because he couldn't get his way, is actually a more solid movie than all of those. And it is better because he wasn't allowed to run amuck.

Yeah Alien 3's a surprisingly solid film but it's far from his best.

Social Network boring? Really?

Tbh, I think Alien 3(the assembly cut) is up there with his best but given how people hate it for the beginning death scenes, it's really underrated. I don't think he's terrible though.

Alien 3 is underrated and definitely one of Fincher's best films. There are different versions of the film and I remember the longest one being the best.

I don't think Seven was convoluted at all, it is very coherent and clever crime thriller. Fight Club isn't one of my personal favorites but it is easy to see why many viewers like it, it's better than average, at least. Panic Room is also exciting and nicely paced thriller, and not too long like some others made by Fincher.

The Game is probably Fincher's worst film, corny ending almost ruins it completely. Unofortunately, Fincher's last five films are very mediocre, mostly dull, and forgettable efforts and I have no desire to watch them again.
