The Devil in the White City

I think David Fincher is more suited to direct the devil in the white city with Leo Di Caprio. Nothing against Scorsese but if anyone who reads the book can see its right up Finchers alley.

I agree. Plus, I've been wanting to see a Finch/Leo collaboration for a long time now, since Finch's main characters seem to be up Leo's alley. Also, Finch has done great work with A-listers (Brad Pitt 3x, Morgan Freeman, Ben Affleck, Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Kevin Spacey, Cate Blanchett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Jodie Foster, etc.) At the very least, he gets his actors Oscar nominations (Rosamund Pike's career has gotten a huge boost thanks to Gone Girl.)

I couldn't finish the book, it was so boring.

Scorsese-Leo would be spectacular, as always, but I think you're right. Fincher has done serial killer films before and I'd love to see what he would do with a 19th-century setting. Plus, Leo would continue his quest to work with every great living director.
