Think it was October 1995, he was the image GQ magazine for How to Wear a White Shirt. Reminds me of the ZZ Top song: Sharp Dressed Man. Check it out

shareI'd love to see it, Dusty. Was his hair long and the shirt open? Hell, Sam would look good in a blob of jello.

It was hard to tell because he was wearing a Cowboy hat.I had cut the picture out and taped it to my locker. Don't know where it is now - maybe I can find it again in the GQ archives (if there is such a thing since this was sooooooo long ago)
shareI'd bet you could find it. My first inclination would be to contact GQ -- they've got to have it archived, and may even have the original photos on file. Maybe you could write a sentimental request, saying that a friend told you the pictures looked just like your late husband. (I hope you don't find that offensive; it wasn't said disrespectfully.)

That's exactly what I did; so now I just have to wait for them to reply. No, not offensive at all - thank you for the compliment!
shareIt wasn't October of 1995. I looked it up, John Travolta was on that cover.
shareHaha nice!
