I don't think so, at least not more than other conservative actors.

Either way I don't think it matters what actors' political beliefs are, it doesn't take away from the fact that h's an amazing actor.

One things for sure, and that's that he's definitely not more conservative then Sean Penn is liberal.

Do you mean his belief in God, In being to conservative? Good replies Gents.

Too conservative? How? Compared to the many loud mouth liberals in Hollywood he's a breath of fresh air.

I say you can never be "too" conservativeUh, yeah, you really can be. In fact, the further one veers to either the left or the right the more it resembles mental illness.

Though Duvall is hardly what I'd call a hard-liner. He's expressed a willingness to vote Dem or independent given the current state of the GOP (a sentiment that would have carried more weight had he recognised the disaster that Palin represented and not supported that ticket). He's far from a doctrinaire true believer of the paleoconservative Limbaugh-esque hard right.

Regardless, his political musings are meaningless to me. I'm only interested in his acting, and at that he is simply one of the best.

I like Duvall but his admiration for Sara Palin is out of whack. Wow!

I could give a damn what his political beliefs are, I'd still see any movie he's in. He is one of the all-time greats as an actor, and that's what counts.

And I happen to believe that Sarah Palin is an utter joke. Doesn't change my opinion of Duvall's acting genius one bit.

Sarah Palin is an imbecile (and the principal reason I voted Libertarian in 2008 rather than for McCain), but I'm less bothered by someone who likes her than I am by Hollywood leftists who admire Fidel Castro or Ho Chi Minh.
