In Mississippi Burning

This is in my opinion one of his ultimate roles. He plays a radically different role than in his other movies. Yet it has something in common with his most famous roles-its creepy, but in a more subtle way. I thought Brad was robbed of an academy award in this one. Hackman, Dafoe and McDormand were all very good but Brad was brilliant. Just shows how easy he can blend in any part, like Brando.

Watch him in Ragtime; another, more even riveting performance as the cowardly kid brother (esp the Lynching scene :)

Great actor, and too often unrecognized. Would love to see what he could do in leading roles.
