Something seems wrong with the fact that this guy has managed to win 3 oscars for movies that are mediocre at best. I mean his best role was in TWBB but even that was boring. The guy can act don't get me wrong, but he's that not good! 28 credits and he's managed to win three Oscars?? Acting is a hobby for this guy!

shareI agree he isn't three Oscar's good, he is probably five Oscar's good just based on the limited volume he has put in. He should have won for both Bill Cutting and for Gerry Conlon.
shareHe is 3 Oscars good and his movies has been great. There Will Be Blood is probably the greatest drama since Schindler's List imo. But he should have won for Gangs of New York and not Lincoln, and the Oscar should have gone to Joaquin Phoenix imo.
