WHAT happened to him?

He used to be hot! He looks like a hard core alcoholic, and drug addict, like maybe heroin? He actually has the same bloated, unhealthy, dark circles under the eyes look as Phillip Seymour Hoffman had.

Debating with a fool is like spitting on a fish, its best not to bother.

I REALLY agree it looks like they just are pouring him onto the set.

Well, let's see. In 1987 he gained 80 pounds for his role in "Full Metal Jacket." Later in the same year he had a small part in "Adventures in Babysitting." I don't know his weight at that time, but the girl who needed the babysitter was convinced that he was her favorite Roman god. He worked in a garage. The garage doors slowly raised and you could see his body - he was really a hunk. Over the next 25+ years he has played parts for which he needed to gain weight, then ones in which he lost weight. He is now in his 50s. Doctors tell us that one of the worst things a person can do in being able to control their weight is gaining and losing weight again and again.

Does his weight and physical appearance really bother you that much? What other actors have been criticized for their weight at his approximate age? Maybe you have heard of Orson Welles? How about Marlon Brando, believed by many (including Jack Nicholson) to be the greatest actor who ever lived.

All I am saying is give the man a little slack. He is a very good actor. Many of us think he is still good looking. He has always been a character actor, not a leading man.

Who is Keyser Soze?

Thank you. Again, for those of you who don't know what a repeat is, Vincent is alive & well & "hot" as ever in the year 2014. And, yes, he is still a great actor, with one project after another. He is working hard & enjoying his wonderful family consisting of his wife & three children. Let's try & keep up.

He is a great actor, with or without the weight.
Watch all his stuff and judge yourself.
His mannerisms and intonations are spot on and he can play evil or good so well.
And I say this because I truly think so and not like some of these nutty chicks who are just hot for him and would, defend him no matter.

Seems to have a history of substance abuse problems.

reply

To the best of my knowledge, he has had no instances of any substance abuse, except for smoking cigarettes. That's a terrible rumor to start about anyone. He smoked since he was young, had a terrible time quitting, before his marriage, he was quite the ladies' man, & he has had trouble controlling his weight since he's gotten older. Yes, as others will tell you, I am very much a Vincent fan. Read & watch anything on Vincent & have never seen any proof of your allegations.

If you're such a fan, you would know he had a cocaïne and alcohol problem for 17 years. He even talked About it in a talkshow.
Stop Hiding in the sand, he is not a saint.

reply

You are absolutely right, Vincent is not a saint. I couldn't agree with you more. Please refer me to the articles & talk show that said Vincent had a cocaine & alcohol problem. I've been a fan of Vincent's for about 14 years. I read any article I can get on Vincent & view any talk show he is on. Never read of any substance abuse, unless you count regular cigarettes. You cam go to "The Reel Vincent D'Onofrio" & find many clips from his talk show appearances. I love research, so please give me a hand & refer me to these articles & talk shows. Thank you.
