Frank N Furter

Was anyone else really impressed by his singing and dancing in Rocky Horror. This guy is really talented.

Tim Curry originated the role in the original 1973 London production at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs and went on to play it in the 1974 LA cast and short lived 1975 Broadway run. His performance in the film is part of what makes the film so enjoyable. His voice, his movement, his facial expressions are all perfect for the character. After ROCKY HORROR, Curry went on to being typecasted for weird character roles like Lord Darkness in LEGEND, Wadsworth in CLUE and Rooster in ANNIE. But he'll always be remembered for the fish net stockings and high heels.

Nope. I actually got turned on to his music long before I saw Rocky Horror. His three rock albums are quite wonderful.

I cant say the rocky horror role is my favorite of his. in fact its the one movie of his that I honestly cant stand. im sure he had guts to do a role like that, and im sure its the role that got him famous to begin with, but the movie is completely stupid and despicable. I MUCH prefered his roles in movies like Clue, the Shadow, muppet treasure island and such.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!
